PW was very intelligent ans cooperative. Not recommended for further interrogation.

Chronology:
27 Apr 49: PW was inducted into the Army at SARIWON (沙里院) and assigned to the 45mm AT Gun Regt, 3rd Brigade.
Jun 49: Promoted to Jr Sgt.
Oct 49: Promoted to Sgt.
Dec 49: Promoted M/Sgt.
Feb 50: Commissioned Jr Lt.
15 Jul 50: PW's unit was redesignated as 7th Div, Arty Regt at SEOUL.
25 Jul 50: PW's Regt departed by truck and passed through P'YONGTAEK (平澤), CHOCH'IWON (鳥致院), KONGJU (公州), CH'ONGJU (淸州) and arrived at KWNGJU (光州) o/a 29 Jul 50.
30 Jul 50: Departed by truck for MOKP'O (木浦), spent two days and returned to KWANGJU 1 Aug 50. Departed for YOSU (麗水) and returned to KWANGJU o/a 5 Aug 50.
7 Aug 50: Promoted to Lt.
8 Aug 50: Departed by truck and headed for NAKTONG River front and arrived at CHUNGYO-RI (中橋里) (1140-1380) o/a Aug 50.
Sep 50: Promoted to Sr Lt.
18 Sep 50: 7th Div started to retreat and headed for ANUI (安義).
3 Oct 50: PW surrendered at SUDONG-MYON.

General:

Intentions:
7th Div was headed for the highest and most rugged terrain of OEGWANG-SAN (外剛山) (1068-1408) to fight to the finish.

Morale & Propaganda:
Troop morale is very low. The will to fight is gone among the rank and file. Majority of the troops are forced to stay together at point of gun. Most of the original troops have deserted and are trying to make their way back home in small groups.
