Stopped any vehicle in the area and evacuated wounded soldier to the rear when short of transportation. This authority was received from 7th Div CG. This method of evacuation was commonly used.
Ambulances were double decked and could carry 8 to 10 wounded. They were painted yellow with Red Cross insignias on both side and top.

Arms:
All officers carried TTM1933 pistols. Aidmen carried M1 (US) Rifles and average of 50 rounds per rifle.

Supplies:
Food and arms mostly came from MANCHURIA but never reached the front becauses supply lines were cut by UN Forces. 95% of supplies came through SINUIJU (新義州). Since th 7th Div originated in MANCHURIA most of the supplies came from there.

Intentions:
Since the 7th Div used CCF methods, destination of the unit was never disclosed until orders were issued. Orders usually were issued about 5 or 6 minutes before movement started.

Red Cross Insignias:
In Medic Hospital no one wore red cross arm bands. While using KIILTONG (紀日洞) village for hospital, 2 ambulance cars were hidden and no Red Cross Flag was raised. Once PW heard that if the flag was seen by the enemy it would expose their position and the village would be bombed.
