PW was very cooperative and sincere but lacked knowledge military situation. Not recommended for further interrogation.

2 Aug 48 - PW enlisted NKPA at SINUIJU (新義州)
23 Aug 48 - Finished training with approximately 2,400 men.
24 Aug 48 - Sent to 1st Div Rear Supply Co as clerk
13 Jun 50 - Departed P’YONGYANG (平壤) with 603rd Motorcycle Unit, 45-mm M1937 AT Gun Co as supply clerk.
24 Jun 50 - Arrived P’YONGYANG (平壤) by train.
15 Aug 50 - Arrived YONGDONG (永同) with Co. Strafed many times enroute.
17 Aug 50 - Departed YONGDONG (永同).
25 Aug 50 - Arrived KWANGJU (光州) by truck.
26 Aug 50 - Departed KWANGJU (光州).
2 Sep 50 - Arrived CHINJU (晉州). Departed CHINJU, 3 Sep 50. Bombed by aircraft. 4 men killed.
5 Sep 50 - Co arrived KOSONG (固城).
15 Sep 50 - Co departed KOSONG but PW remained in KOSONG at hospital because of malaria.
20 Sep 50 - Co began to retreat from HAMAN (咸安). Approx 24 men of company were killed.
23 Sep 50 - PW proceeded to SACH’ON alone.
25 Sep 50 - PW surrendered to ROK troops 14 km W of SACH’ON.

Morale and Propaganda:
Most men are afraid of combat. Morale was very low. PW saw US propaganda leaflets about 5 times in KOSONG Area KWANGJU and NAMWON (南原). Leaflets were believed by most of the Pvts but not by officers.
