2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was a South Korean and hates communists. PW very cooperative and sincere. Not recommended for further interrogation.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
14 Aug 50: PW drafted by NKPA at YONGAM (靈岩) with 50 men.
15 Aug 50: Departed YONGAM (靈岩).
20 Aug 50: Arrived KURYE (求禮). Group of 50 assigned to 9th Div, 45mm AT Gun Co.
21 Aug 50: Departed KURYE (求禮).
24 Aug 50: Arrived HADONG (河東).
28 Aug 50: Arrived CHINJU (晉州).
29 Aug 50: Departed CHINJU (晉州). Attacked by planes on numerous occasions. Two wounded and one killed.
2 Sep 50: Arrived UIRYONG (宜寧). Remained in reserve about 20 days.
23 Sep 50: Went into position on mountain northwest of CHUNGGYO-RI (中橋里) without any ammo or equipment.
24 Sep 50: PW surrendered to US troops.


Unit organization and strength:
Original organization and strength of 7th Hq, 45mm AT Gun Co 51 men. Three plts, each plt 12 men.

Equipment:
No AT guns. Troops armed with M1891/30 rifles.

Disposition:
Ration dump located in warehouse at O RYONG MYON.

Communications:
Roads in YONGAM Area (靈岩), HADONG Area (河東) and CHINJU Area (晉州) were damaged by bombing. Most of the large bridges were destroyed. Runners used between platoons and companies.

Morale and Propaganda:
Troops believe that UN forces will win eventually so morale was very low. PW has never seen US propaganda leaflets;
