LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES OF UNITS:
19th Regt CP, 13th Div was located approx 4 Km N of TABU DONG (near a gold mine) on 21 Sep 50.
13th Div CP was always located approx 16 Km to rear of the 19th Regt.
A hospital attached to the 13th Div was located in vicinity of NAKTONG RI on 19 Sep 50.
Heard that all patients had been evacuated from the area due to approach of enemy tanks as of 19 Sep 50.

PERSONAL AND UNIT HISTORY:
Inducted on 10 May 1950 at SINUIJU.
Received no training because of being a doctor.
Received his commission as medical Capt when he was assigned to Med Section, 19th Regt on 20 May 50.

PERSONALITIES:
NAME: PANG, Il Song (方日成)
RANK: Warrant Officer MD (注尉)
DUTY: Medical Aid
ORGN: Medical Section, 19th Regt, 13th Div

REPLACEMENTS:
Of these he handled since 10 Sep 50, PW stated that a large number of patients were mostly replacements (mostly South Korean conscripts).

FOOD AND AMMO SUPPLIES:
The main supply lino to 13th Div was severed between ANDONG and SANGJU o/a 16 Sep 50.

ARMOR AND ARTILLERY:
Observed about 4 tanks destroyed along road approx 4 Km N of TABUDONG on 15 Sop 50.

MORALE:
At present, the morale of 13th Div has dropped very low since their main food, equipment and ammo supply line was cut on 16 Sep 50.

US PW’s:
Observed about 40 - 50 US PW’s in KYONGSONG (SEOUL) o/a 2 July 50.
PW stated that once US PW's reach the rear, they receive good treatment in general.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Members of 13th Div were inoculated for cholera between end of Aug and early part of Sep 50.
No cases of cholera were reported in 13th Division.
8th Div was located in rear of 13th Div at time of capture on 23 Sep 50.
