2. ASSESSMENT:
Subject was cooperative but information was limited. He was captured with 12 men.
Physical condition - Fair
Information - Reliable

3. MILITARY HISTORY:
Inducted 5 Jul 50 at WONSAN (元山) and attached to 563rd Regt (Unit) at WONSAN. Men were armed with MOSSIN M1891/30 rifles. 50 rds of ammo issued.
Movement of Unit--1st Bn:
Departed WOSAN 21 Sep 50　Arrived SEOUL 24 Sep 50
Travelled by train and marching (day and night)

4. CIRCUMSTANCE OF CAPTURE:
When PW and 12 other men observed UN troops, they came out of a cave and surrendered.

5. UNIT STRENGTH & ARMAMENT:
There were 12 men in each sqd, 4 sqds in each plt, 3 plts in each co, 7 cos in each bn, and 3 bns in the 563 Regt (unit).
The present strength is 2,000 men.
The 1st Bn was armed with one cannon, 8 HMGS, 300 LMGS and rifles. These weapons were all of Russian make.
Half of personnel and majority of weapons were destroyed by air attack at SHINCHON o/a 20 Sep 50.
