Seems very intelligent, but information limited due to brief military service.

4. LOCATION AND ACTIVITIES OF UNIT:
Replacement unit, 3rd Division was following Division headquarters carrying rice (30 Kg per man) for Division Staff officers.
The 3rd Division, Headquarters received orders to retreat to SANGJU from the foot of SUAM SAN (수암산) o/a 17 Sep 50. Headquarters moved to KIKOK DONG (기곡동) during night of 17 Sep 50.

5. PERSONAL AND UNIT HISTORY:
Inducted 4 Sep 50 at HAMHUNG.
PW and 500 others traveled together from HAMHUNG 4 Sep 50 by train, and marched and arrived at CHANGCHON 22 Sep 50
PW and 30 others from HAMHUNG assigned to Replacement Unit, 3rd Division.
On 22 Sep 50 after hearing that the UN Forces had arrived, PW surrendered to ROK 1st Division at CHANGCH’ON.

6. GENERAL:
PW states that his group was the last to leave North Korea. Men from 17 to 45 were conscripted and sent South.
Observed approximately 1,000 South Korean conscripts at Agricultural College in SUWON. The college was used as troops barracks during the night, and troops hid inan heavily forested hill during the days.

7. FOOD AND AMMO SUPPLIES:
Ammo storage was observed in POSONG DONG.

9. MORALE:
Morale of the troops seems to be very low, because they believed they were deceived by North Korean Government into a hopeless and useless war.
