ATIS INTERROGATION REPORT NO. 1432　27 September 1950

FIELD REPORT (163 - MISDI - 0125)　23 September 1950

PW attended Middle School 5 years and the PYONGYANG Medical College for 4. He opened his own office in 1946 at PYONGAN NAMDO, TAEDON GUN, KUNJE MYON, WONGHUN RI. From 1947 to July 50 he worked at the Number One National Hospital at PYONGYANG. On 9 Jul 50 he entered the Home Ministry Hospital in SEOUL.

From 13 July until 27 Aug 50, he worked at the SUNMO Hospital. He was inducted into the newly activated 107th Regiment Headquarters at PUPYONG. Moved to KIMPO on 1 Sep 50, and worked in the hospital attached to the 107th Regiment, which was attached to the Headquarters, Frontline Defense. The following Battalions were under the 107th Regiment:

27th Battalion, located at NAMYUM

31st Battalion, located at KWANWANDO

32nd Battalion, located at YONGDOK

33rd Battalion, located at KAESONG

Arty Battalion, located at KWANHADO.

The 107th Regiment Hq was at KIMPO UP. PW stated that the Regiment's strength was about 3,500 men with each Battalion having about 700 men. A Communication Platoon was attached to the Regiment.

The Artillery Battalion had about 10 artillery guns.

The Regiment's code number was SHINGO SAN and for the 31st Batalion was PAMNAMU (chestnut tree).
