2. ASSESSMENT:
PW was a YONG YONG High School student at time he was inducted into the army, 23 July 1950, at CHOLWON.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
a. Chronology:
Inducted into the Army 23 July 1950. Training received at CHOLWON for about 1 month. Trained as rifleman.

b. Unit Organization and Strength;
PW's Co strength 56 men.

c. Equipment:
PW's Co had five (5) HMG and fifty (50) rifles.

d. Unit Duties:
PW said there was only one (1) Bn from CHOLWON and rest of the Unit stayed at CHOLWON. PW's Co duty was to defend INCHON.

e. Disposition:
PW’s Unit CP was located at CHOLWON and PW’s Bn CP was located 1½ km E of INCHON.

f. Communication:
The roads from INCHON to SEOUL is about 6 or 7 meters wide and road condition was good,

g. Personalities:
Own Unit: CO was KIM San Kiu.

h. Morale was very low.
