2. ASSESSMENT:
PW appeared to be fairly intelligent. Ignorant on military terms and units due to short term of service. PW considered fairly reliable by interrogator.

3. TACTICAL INFORMATION:
Chronology:
24 Aug 50 - PW conscripted with 39 S. Koreans of MOKP'O. Received 3 days of dismounted drill.
27 Aug 50 - 40 S. Korean conscripts assigned to 3rd Co, 1st Bn, 1st Regt, 7th Div, MOKP'O. 33 conscripts issued M1891/30 rifle, 7 including PW unarmed because lack of rifles. Together with 2nd Co, the 3rd Co left MOKP'O on seven (7) trucks. PW believes 2nd and 3rd Co's were formerly Security and Guard troops stationed in MOKP’O and organized as replacement units for 7th Div in HAMAN Area. PW believes the two (2) companies of regular NKPA troops were transferred to MOKP'O from KWANGJU after 2nd and 3rd Co’s left MOKP’O.
28 Aug 50 - 2nd and 3rd Co’s arrived at TAMYANG via YONSANP'O, KWANGJU. Travel route over dirt highway by night only. Continued travel by truck.
29 Aug 50 - 2nd and 3rd Co's arrived at HADONG via KOKSONG, KURYE. Travel route over mountain roads. Continued travel by trucks.
31 Aug 50 - 2nd and 3rd Co’s arrived at UIRYONG. Left trucks at UIRYONG. Continued march ever mountain roads.
4 Sep 50 - 2nd and 3rd Co’s approached road fork in Northern outskirts of HAMAN. 2nd Co took road extending southeast, 3rd Co ambushed by US Army unit. 3rd Co retreated into wooded area E and W of road
11 Sep 50 - PW captured in hut by US Army patrol.
