1. PERSONAL DETAILS:

2. ASSESSMENT:
PW did not possess info on Infantry units. Apparently INOB servant.

3. T/O & E OF UNIT:
15th Div - approx 10,000 men.
There were three Inf Regts and one Arty Regt in the Div.
Arty Regt - approx 1,000 men
12x122mm Howitzer
24x76mm Field Guns
26x ZIS Trucks utilized in pulling guns.
PW worked on a 76mm Gun.
Each 76mm gun had 2- boxes with 5 shells in each.
There were two types of shells: HE with KTM-1 Fuze and AP-T Tracer.
In the Arty Regt, there were three Bn with 75- men each, four 122mm howitzer & eight 76mm guns. There were three Btrys in a Bn.
The Btrys were numbered through 9 (8 - men each).
Co's 3, 6, & 9 had 122mm howitzer - 4 each.
Co's 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, & 8 had 76mm field guns - 4 each.
There were two plts in a Btry, 16 men each.
Each plt: Two 76mm Guns or two 122mm howitzers.
Two sqds in one plt. 8 men each.
Each Sqd: One 76mm Gun or one 120mm howitzer.
There was also a plt directly attached to the Btry composed of 39 man. Messengers, Signal and Ren personnel were in this plt.
Men in the Arty sqd carried either M1938 carbines or M1981/30 Rifles. 80 rounds, 2 grenades.

4. ESTIMATED STRENGTH OF ABOVE UNIT:
PW stated that there were no personnel or guns left in his Arty Regt. All have been destroyed.

5. PERSONALITIES:
Arty Regt CO KIM, Yon Sop (김연섭), Col, Age - unk. Heard that he was killed by a land mine.
2nd Bn CO HUNG Su Op (홍수업), Major, Age 24.
5th Co CO KIM, Son Chong (김선종), Sr Lt, Age 24.

6. PERSONAL AND UNIT HISTORY:
Indudcted 13 Mar 50 at RAJIN. Received 12 days of Arty training at RAJIN. Prior to that day, he had not received any training because there were no weapons.
Departed RAJIN - 20 Jun - RR - arrived CH’ORWON - 25 Jun.
Departed CHORWON - 27 Jun - Truck - arrived CHUNCHON ? Jun.
Departed CHUNCHON - ? Jun - Truck, by-passed CHUNGJU, arrived KUMCHON - ? Jun.
Departed KUMCHON ? Jul - Truck - arrived 2½ miles S of YONGCHON 9 Sep, Captured on 10 Sep 50. Most of the places PW traveled through were unknown to him.

7. FOOD AND AMMO SUPPLIES:
PW stated that his unit received ammo twice. Ammo was brought in by trucks, usually during the night.

8. ENEMY INTENTIONS:
Mission of the 15th Div was to take PUSAN.

9. MORALE:
Morale of the unit was low because they were strafed by planes and could not come out during the day. Also, they had no food nor cigarettes.
