FIELD REPORT (ADVATIS - 0744)　10 September 1950

PW appeared to be intelligent and observant. PW considered reliable by interrogator.

6 Mar 50: Conscripted into 6th Div, 13th Inf Regt SARIWON. 2,000 conscripts received 2 months basic military tng. 6th Div, 15th Inf Regt trained at HAEJU. Other units unknown.

15 Jun 50: 13th Inf Regt alerted. Issued weapons at SARIWON and left by rail.

16 Jun 50: Arrived in area immediately north of 38° parallel (North of KAESONG 開城). Other 6th Div units deployed east of 13th Inf Regt along line north of 38° parallel.

25 Jun 50: 6th Div advanced into SOUTH KOREA by foot.

29 Jun 50: 6th Div entered INCH’ON via YONGDUNGP’O.

30 Jun 50: 6th Div left INCH’ON by foot.

22 Jul 50: 6th Div arrived at KUNSAN via CH’ONAN, HONGSONG (洪城).

31 Jul 50: 6th Div left KUNSAN by foot.

5 Aug 50: 6th Div arrived at HADONG (河東) via CHONJU (全州). NAMWON (南原). Travel route through mountain forests and over roads.

5-10 Aug: PW incapacitated with sore feet. Rested in 6th Div rear unit located 10 km West of CHINGU (晉州).

18-30 Aug: 6th Div deployed in wooded mountains south of PANSONG. Engaged in battle with US Army units.

8 1400 Sep: PW wounded by US fire. PW and 1 other wounded soldier captured by US Army unit in area 2 km Southwest of HAMAN. Disposition of 6th Div units unknown.
