Chronology:
9 Jul 50 - Conscripted into NKPA - SEOUL.
11 Jul 50 - Departed SEOUL with 200 conscripts, proceeded to KAESONG (開城) (950-1890) by rail. Arrived 7th Div Repl Depot in KAESONG. 200 conscripts ordered to proceed to YONGSANG (龍山). Departed KAESONG, 11 Jul 50, by rail.
12 Jul 50 - 0130, arrived YONGSAN. Departed YONGSAN, marched to YONGDUNGP’O (永登浦). Arrived YONGDUNGP’O 0630. 12 1930 Jul 50 departed YONGDUNGP’O, marched to SUWON (水原). Arrived SUWON 13 0430 Jul 50, unarmed.
13 Jul 50 - 2000, departed SUWON, marchod to P'YONGTAEK (平澤). No incidents enroute, Arrived P'YONGTAEK 0600, 14 Jul 50, unarmed.
14 Jul 50 - 1930, departed P'YONGTAEK, marched to CHOCHI’WON. (鳥致院). 20 or 30 of the 200 conscripts developed sore feet enroute but was forced to march with the group. Arrived CHOCHI’WON 16 0100 Jul 50. No incidents enroute. 200 inductees absorbed into 7th Div, 2nd Regt at CHOCH'IWON. Location of other units, 7th Div, unknown. Only 60 of 200 replacements from SEOUL issued weapons. Remaining 140 men told they would be issued weapons later.
16 Jul 50 - 2nd Regt boarded trucks and departed CHOCH'IWON, 0200. Enroute, Subject’s truck became separated. Subject arrived TAEJON approx 0630. Sought unit in TAEJON but was unsuccessful. Location of units, 7th Div, unknown. Heard 200 Regt located in KWANGJU, 18 Jul 50. Met Regt Cmdr, 3rd Regt, 7th Div (loc 3rd Regt unknown) told to proceed to SUNCH’ON (順天) and join 2nd Regt.
18 Jul 50 - 0530, arrived SUNCH’ON and rejoined 2nd Regt. Subject issued rifle, Subject noticed approximately 15 men in 3rd Co were unarmed. Heart that there were not sufficient arms to equip all of the men. Heard that unarmed troops were to receive weapons from future unit casualties. Rested in SUNCH’ON for 3 days, 2nd Regt departed SUNCH’ON 2130, 21 Jul 50, Location, other units 7th Div, unknown. 21 Jul 50, Subject hospitalized in civil hospital because of sore feet, Remained in hospital until 21 Aug 50.
21 Aug 50 - Subject and 15 other patients discharged from hospital. Ordered to proceed to CHINJU (晉州). Arrived CHINJU 23 Aug 50, Upon arrival found 2nd Regt was in HAMAN Area. Departed CHINJU 23 Aug 50.
24 Aug 50 - 2200, rejoined 2nd Regt 2 km W HAMAN. 3rd Bn, 2nd Regt dispositioned 3 km N of HAMAN. Location of other ancillary units, 2nd Regt, unknown. Location other units, 7th Div, unknown. 3rd Bn, 2nd Regt dug in for defensive warfare in Hills 3 km N HAMAN until 5 Sep 50, Subject noticed that unit had not been supplied since Subject’s arrival. On 5 Sep 50, there were 300 rounds of ammunition per rifle 24 Aug 50, to 5 Sept 50, 3rd Bn was under constant artillery fire. Subject's Co suffered 50 casualties. Other details, unknown.
5 Sep 50 - Subject was wounded during artillery shelling Left unit and proceeded toward HAMAN (咸安) at point 1 km N of HAMAN, Captured by Americans.
