HMG UNIT: HMG Co consisted of 3 platoons, 3 squads in one platoon. Authorized one (1) MAXIM HMG M/1910 to each Sqd, but at present have one HMG to one platoon. Platoon are authorized 9 HMG but presently equipped with one (1) HMG. Troop strength unknown.

3. DISPOSITION OF ABOVE UNITS:

4. PERSONAL AND UNIT HISTORY:
Inducted 8 Jul 50 at HAM HUNG (咸興). Received one week of combat tactics at HAMHUNG and departed for SEOUL. PW departed SEOUL with 900 others and arrived SUWON. PW was assigned to 2nd Div at HUMCHANG. PW passed SONJU, KORYON, HUBJON, and crossed the NAKTONG River on 1 Sep 50. The Mortar unit was attacked 8 km E of crossing point. PW was captured right ofter this battle.

6. FOOD SUPPLY:
PW's unit had emergency rations for 4 days prepared prior to crossing the NAKTONG River.

The objective of the 6th Regt was CHANGYONG (昌寧)

8. MORALE:
Most of the troops in the unit were forced into the Army; therefore morale was very low.

9. SOUTH KOREAN CIVILIANS:
Most of the SK civilians dislike the NK Army, because the NK Army loots their food stocks.

10. INTERROGATORS REMARKS:
Observation limited, information seems reliable.
