3rd Bn composed of three Rifle Cos, HMG Co (2 x HMGs and 70 - men), and a Mortar Plat (3 x 82 mm mortars)

3. DISPOSITION OF ABOVE UNITS:

4. ESTIMATED STRENGTH OF ABOVE UNITS:
Unit up to T.O & E strength 31 Aug 50.

6. PERSONAL AND UNIT HISTORY:
Inducted 28 Feb 50 at HWANG JU. Received 20 days training with 150th Unit (strength approx 500 men) at HWANGJU. Unit transferred to SINCHON where the men world constructing air-raid shelters. Unit moved to HAEJU during May. Crossed 38th Parallel on 25 Jun 50 and went to ONGJIN. On 30 Jun 50, the men of 150th Unit joined 9th Div at ONGJIN as replacements. 9th Div departed ONGJIN and traveled south to the place of capture (Route unk). First combat operation for 9th Div was on 1 Sep 50 when they crossed the NAKTONG River and attacked YONGSAN.

7. ARMOR:
One T-34 tank observed on W bank of NAKTONG River W of YONGSAN.

8. ARTILLERY:
No information

9. AMMO AND FOOD SUPPLY:
A three (3) day food ration was carried by each men when the unit crossed the NAKTONG River on 1 Sep 50.
Ammo was last issued at INCHON about 20 days ago. None has been received thereafter.

10. REPLACEMENTS:
No replacements received other than PW's unit.
