Russian advisors were attached to the 15th Division and the 45th Regiment. 15th Division advisor was a Lt. Col. (Administrative Service). After crossing the 38th parallel they were not seen.
PWs in North Korea:On 23 July 50, PW observed 3 South Korean PWs, 4 kilometers north of KOESAN. Soured heard that they were being sent to PYONGYANG PW Camp.
Effectiveness of Leaflets:The leaflets were very effective in the PW's unit. Upon reading the leaflets a great number of the North Korean troops surrendered to the South Korean Army.
