8 Aug 50 - Observed 36 truck loads of ammunition going in the direction of MAN'GURI. Hearsay: Heard ammunition was unloaded in MAN'GURI Hill, buried somewhere at the base of the hill. Another ammunition dump was located behind SEOUL RR Station, in an old abandoned bomb shelter. 9965660-1643000.
16 Aug 50 - Hearsay: 10,000 Russian troops located in SEOUL Middle School in SEOUL.
20,000 Russian troops left SEOUL Middle School for unknown destination. Information came from a Korean who was a cook tor the Russian troops at SEOUL Middle School.
Informant observed many Russians in civilian clothes around SEOUL Area but did not sea any in uniform.
30,000 Chinese Communist Troops are located 500 meters NE of SU SACK Electric Sub-Station in mountains. Troops are well concealed in thick wooded areas in mountains. Of the 30,000 CCF troops 75% were Koreans, and 25% Chinese. No information on equipment.
Informant states that the main supply dump for the front is MAPO Fish Harbor. Boats and barges transport supplies by water to YONGDUNGP'O Landing. Trucks pick up supplies, transport to train station in YONGDUNGP'O. Distance from landing to railroad station was 3/4 mile. All Supplies are transported from MAPO to train beginning 2230 hours until 0430 hours. No transportation during the day.
17 Aug 50 - SUWON: Observed about 200 NK troops and a few policemen (no figures available).
18 Aug 50 - SONGHWAN: Was stopped by 2 North Korean guards for identification.
19 Aug 50: CHOCHIWON: No NK troops.
21 Aug 50 - TAEJON: Saw about 2 or 3 NK tanks heading toward YONGDONG. No information on Red troops.
22 Aug 50: HWANGGAN: Observed 5 or 6 trucks unloading ammunition at a train tunnel. No concentration of troops.
27 Aug 50 - From the W bank of NAKTONG River informant and friend saw UN troops. Waved and yelled at the UN troops for permission to cross the river. UN troops told them to cross. Informant and his companion were taken to Bn Hqs, and investigated by Bn G-2.
