Training: Approximately fifty percent of the personnel in the 6th Company have received more than three years of military training at Manchuria, the remaining fifty percent have had seven months to loss than one year of basic training.

Mission:
The mission of the 6th Company was to capture MASAN, then PUSAN.

Location of Unit:
The 6th Company was believed to be located on a hill 15 km south-southeast of YONGSAN and 4 km north-northeast of the confluence of the NAKTONG and NAM River.

Supplies:
Staple foods, such as rice and vegetables were confiscated from occupied areas, sometimes North Korean certificates and money were given to farmers in exchange.

Foreign Elements:
Two Russian officers were observed at the Pyongyang railroad station,

Condition of Terrain Behind His Line:
The roads were badly destroyed. Many small and large bomb raters were observed.
The railroads just south of the 38th parallel were badly destroyed by aircraft bombing.
The bridges were destroyed by aircraft bombing and demolition.

Anti-South Korean Propaganda:
If any North Koreans are captured, they will be killed without trial by the invading capitalist troops.
The South Korean Government has been removed to Japan, because the North Korean guerillas have done such a wonderful job. Also the people have taken interest in the People’s Democratic Government introduced from the North.

Supply Dumps:
Two provision warehouses, each measuring 50 m by 10 m by 10 m high, with gable galvanized iron roof, were located 1 km north from the point 2 km west of CHONGJU and KWASAN railroad station. A board fence, approximately 2 m high, enclosed the warehouses,

Miscellaneous:
Prisoner heard the 16th Regiment was fighting somewhere North of TAEGU.
The Japanese rifle they issued to him was old and rusty.

American PW’s:
On the 13th of July 1950, prisoner observed five GI’s sitting at the SEOUL railroad station. There was only one guard. Their hands were not tied. Unit Commanders have ordered their troops to take prisoners and send them to the rear headquarters. After the war, prisoners were to be ransomed.
