24 Jun 47 - Volunteered for Democratic Allied Army (民主联軍). Assigned to HUNCH'UN County Defense Bn (琿春縣大隄). Clothing Supply and Repair Section, FUNCHUNG-HYON, MANCHURIA.
8 Sep 47 - Transferred into Democratic Allied Army Ind 4th Unit (Div). PW received nurses training in unit. Ind 4th Unit fought against Nationalist Chinese Anny Forces in Southeast MANCHURIA. Advanced westward.
Jul 49 - Ind 4th Unit crossed MANCHURIA-CHINA Border. No change in command.
10 Mar 50 - 264 Korean women doctors and nurses departed from NAMCHANG, South CHINA via rail. PW and 16 nurses departed from Ind 4th Unit, NAMCHANG.
6 Apr 50 - 280 doctors and nurses arrived at SINUIJU. PW and 14 nurses assigned to 13th Div Field Hospital Unit, SINUIJU. Others unknown. PW promoted to Sgt.
o/a 1 Jun - 13th Div departed SINUIJU.
o/a 20 Jul 13th Div Field Hospital Unit (4 male doctors, 26 female nurses, 200 cots) departed SINUIJU, via rail.
2 Jul 50 - 13th Div Hospital arrived in SEOUL. PW and 1 woman doctor (Capt) transferred to 13th Div self-propelled Art’y Bn, SEOUL.
2-27 Jul 50 13th Div arrived at SANGJU (尙州) via CH'UNGJU (忠州), HAMCH’ANG (咸昌).
12 2300 Aug Promoted to M/Sgt. 13th Div self-propelled Bn crossed NAKTONG River east of SANGJU on rafts. 15 x SU-85 self-propelled guns ferried across river without incident. Other units unknown.
13-24 Aug - Engaged twice by ROK Army units. 9 x SU-85 self-propelled guns destroyed by ROK Army artillery. Location unknown.
25 0730 Aug PW and 1 women medical officer (Sr Lt) captured by counter-attacking ROK Units in area of SANG-DONG (1140-1470).

Cholera Immunization:
20 Aug 50 - Rumors of cholera outbreak in T’AEGU. As result, 13th Div self-propelled Bn personnel given immunization injections. Other unite unknown. No cases of cholera reported in North Korean. Army or among civilians, 10 mild cases of dysentery reported in battalion. Bn medical supply fairly stocked with Korean and some Russian medicine.
