PW was inducted 2 Apr 46 at MUTANCHIANG, MANCHURIA. Trained as rifleman at MUTANCHIANG, 5 months with 600 Koreans in Chinese Communist Army. Departed MUTANCHIANG 10 Apr 50 by train - arrived WONSAN - 12 Apr 50. At WONSAN PW and the other 600 joined 7th Div.

Departed KOSONG 19 Jun 50 - marched - arrived INJE (麟蹄) 22 Jun 50.

Replacements: 3rd Regt received approx 400 replacement from P’YONGYANG in the vicinity of ANDONG on/about 3 Aug 50.

Two JS-3 tanks with 7th Div at vicinity of KIGYE. on 14 Aug 50.

Artillery:
2 x 45-mm m942 AT Guns observed at vicinity of KIGYE.

Vehicles:
3rd Regt had 3 x GAZ-51 however, all of them were destroyed by air attacks. Two ox carts used to haul food and ammunition for the Bn.

Supplies:
No food delivered after 5 Aug 50. Received rice from farmers.
20 rounds of ammunition for mortar last received at 4 km S of ANDONG. 13 rounds left.

Enemy Intentions:
Objective of 7th Div was T’AEGU via P’OHANG-DONG.
