Artillery:
Approximately 20 unknown size guns (probably 76-mm’s) of the artillery regiment, 1st Div were seen crossing the NAKTONG River on 28 Jul 50 (approx 120 km N or NW of T’AEGU).

Personal & Unit History:
Inducted 5 Jul 50 - CHUNGAN JIN. Received 22 days basic infantry training. Assigned to the 1st Div 5 Jul 50 at CHUNGJU.
1st Div left CHUNGJU 22 Jul 50, marched through mountain. Crossed NAKTONG River on 25 Jul 50, at a point 120 km N or NW of T’AEGU.

Food and Ammunition Supply:
The 2nd Regt was last supplied with ammunition at 5 1800K Aug 50. 100 rounds issued to each man. Source of ammunition unknown. Heard that is was brought by trucks. Route unknown.

Replacements, Wounded, Stragglers:
Subject and 70 others were sent to 1st Division as replacements, 5 Jul 50. An estimated 200 replacements in 1st since 1 Jul 50.
Wounded evacuated to the rear.

Morale:
Morale high among troops.

Enemy Intentions:
T’AEGU then PUSAN.
The men were often told by battalion, company and platoon commander that the NK Forces will received Chinese Communist and Russian assistance in case they begin to lose.
