Military History:Inducted 15 Jul 50 YANGAYNG (1150-1700).

Departed YANGAYNG 15 Jul 50 by train - arrived KANGNUNG 16 Jul.
Departed KANGNUNG 16 Jul 50 - marched - passed through unknown towns and villages and arrived as ANDONG on or about 9 Aug 50. PW stated there were 200 young men in the group that travelled to ANDONG with PW and were assigned to various companies of the 1st Battalion, 3rd Regt, 8th Division.
PW separated from unit after it was attacked by ROK troops. Because he did not retreat he was captured. No weapon was carried by PW at time of capture.
