Movement of 12th Regt: Departed NANAM by train 24 Jun 50. Arrived YANGYANG 26 Jun 50. Departed YANGYANG 26 Jun 50, arrived YONGDOK 18 Jul 50 via KANGNUNG, SAMCHOK, and ULCHIN.
1st Bn guarded beach area near YONGHAE against amphibious landing 20 Jul 50 to 6 Aug 50. 1st Bn attacked by SK forces 8 Aug 50 as unit was leaving YONGDOK. Informant wounded and captured 081000 K Aug 50 near YONGDOK.

T/O of PW’s Unit:
5th Div composed of the 10th, 11th, and 12th Rifle Regts and an artillery regt. Rifle regt composed of three (3) rifle bns (each approx 700 men) and a 76 mm gun co. (details unk)
